A highly respected physical prowess among ancient Greeks was “light-footedness” and for this reason, sprint races were very popular among the masses, even more so those that took place during the Olympic Games. All the runners would prepare themselves for these athletic events, training hard every day of the week and following a special diet based on foods of exceptionally high nutritional value like sesame paste and stimulating herbs like cinnamon.

Since the 19th century, my family has been milling grains. For five generations, love and dedication to our lands and crops is inherited from one generation to another.
Working closely with a community of farmers, we grow the same grains in the land of our ancestors.
Our grains are traditionally stone-ground, using the tools of my great grandfather.
Inspired by the practical wisdom, virtues and holistic life approach of Ancient Greeks, I studied their sophisticated diet which was based on wholesome grains and came up with the unique recipe of Olyra Breakfast Biscuits! A harmonic combination of ancient grains, fruits and spices, in an organic, non-GMO, whole grain breakfast biscuit, using absolutely nothing artificial. The perfect way to start your day!
